Innovative potential of the food industry in Lleida

This past Thursday, March 28, a new Matchmaking meeting was held at the University of Lleida in the framework of the European aCCeSS project. An initiative that aims to promote collaboration in transfer and innovation between SMEs and universities.

This is the second meeting of its kind held within the framework of the aCCeSS project, which on this occasion focused on the field of agro-food.

The meeting was very well received by researchers and companies from the sector, bringing together some seventy participants from Catalonia (20), Navarra (7), La Rioja (3), Aragón (17) and southern France (4), as well as technicians from transfer and institutional representatives.

During the day, bilateral meetings were held on resource management, plant and animal health, organic production, and healthy and sustainable food among representatives of a total of 25 companies, clusters, professional associations and science parks. It is expected that cross-border collaboration projects will arise to launch transfer projects in the agri-food sector.
